In January 2018 the Markscheider project team successfully completed the first phase of R & D by creating the concept of ASIC miner. Technical documentation has been transferred to the relevant departments for the purchase of components and manufacture of parts of the device. In February, we plan to build and test devices. Thus, by the end of February 2018, we expect an alpha version of the Russian-made ASIC miner.
A distinctive feature of the B-29 is the placement of power supplies on the left along the hash boards. To optimize the air flow inside the housing, the power supply units are separated by a partition. Hash power of ASIC miner Markscheider B29 is 29.5 TH/sec, power consumption 4.2 kW. Therefore, for the possibility of using the miner in the domestic environment (CIS), we use two power supply units of 2.1 kW each.
By default, the control unit contains a wifi module that allows you to connect the miner to wifi directly. This option allows you to reduce the number of wires to connect, allows you to connect the device to any source of wifi signal, up to a mobile phone. However, to ensure the stability of data transmission, we recommend using a standard Ethernet connector.
To reduce the noise characteristics of this model, 4 inlet and 4 outlet high-quality fans with low noise are installed. Cooling of power supply units is provided by four separate fans. The front panel also mounted button query the device IP and reset button installed settings, indicators of work of the device.
The possibility of the buyer’s choice of lighting colors from 7 colors – white, gold, red, blue, green, orange and purple is considered. The body color is also optional and assumed a set of colors-black, white, khaki.
